Moving a RapidWeaver project from one system to another
When moving a RapidWeaver project from one system to another, along with your site file, there are a few directories that should be moved from the old system to the new system.
1. Third-party Themes and Plugins
RapidWeaver stores all your installed third-party themes and plugins in the ~/Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver folder. It should be moved to the same location on the new system.
2. Your RapidWeaver Preferences file
This is the file that stores your RapidWeaver serial number and general RapidWeaver preferences, and can be found here on your Mac ~/Library/Preferences/com.realmacsoftware.rapidweaverpro.plist It to should be moved to the same location on your new Mac.
Most third-party RapidWeaver plugins also store their serial numbers in the RapidWeaver Preferences file, so you won't need to re-enter most (if not all) your plugin serial numbers
3. Assets
Due to the way that RapidWeaver links to assets (we use absolute paths - such as /Users/Nik/Desktop/file.pdf - instead of relative paths - ~/Desktop/file.pdf) unless you’re using the same user account with the assets in exactly the same location, assets will be flagged as missing when you open a file on the new system. On each system, you will need to re-add assets.
