Re-Publishing Your Entire Site

If you have uploaded your site, but some files appear to be missing -- or the theme you have chosen is not appearing -- you will need to over-ride the built-in Smart Publishing and upload every file in your site again. This is also important if you move the location of your site, due to a hosting change or a simple directory change.

Because RapidWeaver uses Smart Publishing to only upload the changed files, if you change the publishing location without uploading all your site files, the new location will not have all the necessary resources for your site. This is because RapidWeaver will only upload the changed files and does not know that you have changed upload locations

To ensure that all the files are you your server, simply open your RapidWeaver project file and then go to the File > Re-Publish All FIles menu option. A dialogue such as the one below will appear: click OK.

Note: Re-publishing your entire site will take a little longer than when using Smart Publishing. This is due to RapidWeaver uploading every file required for your site. After this initial upload, only the changed files will be uploaded with the built-in Smart Publishing.
