Making LittleSnapper your system default for screen shots

You may like to make LittleSnapper the default for screen capture on your user account. To do this follow these simple steps:

  1. In LittleSnapper's General preferences check 'Status Item' to 'Launch at Login' and uncheck 'Quit when quitting LittleSnapper'. This way, when you login, LittleSnapper's status item will launch and you can take screen snaps even if the main LittleSnapper application is closed.
  2. Open Mac OS X System Preferences and select 'Keyboard' > 'Keyboard Shortcuts'
  3. Uncheck 'Save picture of screen as a file' and 'Save picture of selected as a file'
  4. Open LittleSnapper's preferences and select 'Shortcuts'
  5. Change the 'Snap Full Screen' shortcut to: Cmd + Option + 3
  6. Change the 'Snap Area' shortcut to: Cmd + Option + 4

The default system screen capture shortcuts should now snap items straight to LittleSnapper!
