Getting Started with Analog
Importing your photos
Add a photo to Analog by dragging one from anywhere on your Mac straight onto the main canvas area. Or alternatively, use 'File > Open' or the keyboard shortcut 'Cmd + O'.

Have some fun!
Use the sidebar on the right to apply one of Analog's fantastic built-in filters to your photo. Hit the switch at the top to change to the borders view so that you can choose the perfect frame for your masterpiece. You can even preview filters/borders on hover by holding down the shift key and hovering the mouse over a preview in the sidebar.
Want to compare a filter or border choice to the original? Use the toggle button in the actionbar (or hit the 'M' key) to turn processing on and off in an instant.

Take it fullscreen
Analog supports fullscreen mode in both Snow Leopard and Lion. On Snow Leopard the fullscreen button is located in the actionbar. Whereas those running Lion will find it in the standard top right window position.
Adjust the intensity
If you feel that the filters are too strong for a particular photo you can always tone it down by selecting the intensity slider button in the actionbar. This will open the intensity slider mode - the slider dynamically reduces the amount of effect applied by the filters.
Crop and rotate
Click the crop button in the actionbar to open crop mode. Use the ratio button to set a preset ratio and the crop rotate button to rotate your crops 90 degrees, or select 'Freeform' to fine tune the perfect crop. When you're ready, just hit the apply crop button to set a non-destructive crop.
Rotate your photos clockwise using the rotate button in the action bar, or anticlockwise by holding down the Option key.

Sharing your photos
Export a processed photo by clicking the share button in the actionbar and either saving your photo to disk, sending it via Mail or choosing from one of the built-in sharing services.
Services can be configured by clicking on the destination of your choice and completing the authentication steps for that particular service. Once you've clicked 'Done', Analog automatically uploads your photo. From now on you can upload to your configured destination with a single click or, edit a service by clicking on the 'i' button. If you want to remove a service, open the Share popover, hold the Option key and click on the 'x' that appears next to the service.
For those of you that love Flickr - you might like to join our Flickr group for the very best photos which have been processed with Analog. Photos which are selected from this moderated group are then streamed straight to the Analog website showcase!
