I just moved from Eventbox to the Beta 2 and for whatever reason my facebook status updates aren't loading. I've logged out of facebook with my browser and deleted and re-added the account in Socialite but this hasn't changed anything.

Anyone else?

Facebook not working in Socialite… at least for me.

Statuses don’t update and Socialite won’t stay logged in after quitting and opening it up again.
Have to log in again over and over again. Even though keep me logged in is checked.

Cosmic Machine’s EventBox worked flawlessly for me since the beginning.

I have tried removing Facebook service and adding it again, no luck.
I have tried removing Socialite.sqlite and starting from fresh, no luck.

    Snow Leopard 10.6.1, Socialite 1.0 beta 2.

    These errors appear on Console:
    02/11/2009 20:12:11 Socialite[13965] RESIZING
    02/11/2009 20:12:11 Socialite[13965] RESIZING

02/11/2009 20:12:11 Socialite[13965] -[NSCFString stringValue]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1499bb90

PS/EDIT: It seems it actually remembers the login details now; at least I don't have to login to Facebook every time I open up Socialite. I think it fixed it when I went to facebook.com and removed Socialite from the authorized apps and then opened Socialite and logged in again and authorized it

But the statuses problem remains, it just don't show me any statuses at all. Keeps trying to refresh the Facebook service as you see in the picture.

Same issue here. Deleting/removing/refreshing it just keeps grinding away and never updates/fetches the status.

    Same problem here.

Solved in the end by app zapping Socialite ß2, recovering EventBox from trash, going into Facebook and deleting all references to Eventbox and Socialite in settings, then restarting Eventbox.

Not the kind of beta I'm used to from Realmac at all.

Not sure it's needed, but +1 on that problem.
Used MultiBox in the past, if that matters.

Same for me. I did remove the Socialite directory under "Library/Application Support" and did remove all authorizations for Eventbox and Socialite in Facebook to start with a fresh instance but I still have the endless Facebook loading bug

Also having trouble with FB statuses not loading. It loaded a bunch of my photos and some of my friends' photos, but nothing on statuses. Searching the console kicked up the following:

Just noticed that it's now working. What did I change? Absolutely nothing in fact.
Socialite did crash and when I did restart it it did unfortunately forget all the settings changes I made but Facebook was working fine again.
Of course I did close/restart a couple of time before reporting the bug earlier with no luck.
I'll let you know of any updates

Socialite now loads correctly status updates. Did nothing to fix it, so I guess the fix was server side only. Thanks RMS.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your messages. We're looking into this, however as we've been able to retrieve Facebook updates just fine (on both test accounts) it's possibly something server-side at Facebook that's causing issues.

We're keeping an eye on this - and any further information you may have would be much appreciated!

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

fyi, my facebook status updates loaded now.. maybe it was server-side..

    hopefully they continue to work.

If the problem was only server-side, why would my copy of Seesmic Desktop be quickly updating the Facebook statuses - only to have the same updates appear in Socialite/Eventbox hours later?

In general, whenever Socialite/Eventbox has been unable to update these statuses, other external programs have not had the same problem.

Thankfully Socialite/Eventbox (I'm now using Beta 2) has been working OK this morning.

It happens the same in here, and it's not a serverside thing because I'm testing with some other soft and it works :S it worked fine with the last beta.
