Reauthorize
Hi,
is it normal behavior of Socialite that I have to re-authorize Flickr and Facebook after every launch?

Hi Volker
No: this isn't the intended behaviour. In fact, it should be remembering your credentials every launch. Are you modifying Socialite at all [running anything to slim down the application etc]? Have you removed the services from your Keychain and Socialite?
Thanks!
Nik

Hi,
I have NO Socialite (or Eventbox) entry in my Keychain. And I didn't remove them (I think ...).
I have not altered Socialite in any form (hopefully HFS compression via Squeeze on my downloads directory doesn't count ...).
Greetings,
Volker

Hi Volker
We don't use application-specific Keychain entries currently (so, instead, you'll need to remove entries for twitter.com, facebook.com and flickr.com as appropriate).
Thanks!
Nik

Hi Volker
Thanks for your message. The absence of the items in your keychain would explain the re-authorisation - we refer to the keychain for account credentials. Have you tried running Keychain First Aid (from within Keychain Access.app -> Keychain Access menu)
Kind Regards
Nik

Hi,
Keychain First Aid run. Nothing changed. I still re-auth.

I have this same problem on two different machines. Every time I stop and restart Socialite, I have to re-authorize to both Flickr and Facebook. I don't think I'm running anything special. I see entries for both services in my Keychain (not sure if they are the right one, but they are there.) I also notice that every time I authorize with Flickr it says the .1 version of Socialite, although maybe that's by design. A fix would be very nice. It's at the annoying level, but really distracts from the overall goodness of Socialite.
Hard to believe it's just the two of us.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the updates. We're looking into this, but as we're not currently able to replicate the issue it's proving a little tricky to track down. We'll be in touch if we need any further information!
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik
