Feature Requests
I am trying out Socialite with the idea of possibly purchasing. I had EventBox from a MacHeist and liked it. There are a couple of things though, that I'm not clear on (mostly relating to facebook):
1) Is there a way to get a Menubar feed with a heads up kind of window (could also be accomplished with a dock item, but I somehow like the menubar idea better). I am thinking of programs like Pwitter or Tweetie for Twitter only. One of the key advantages I can see of this is being able to see a feed of all my social media sites with an innocuous notification (icon turns color, a red number appears on the icon (what happens now) followed by and easy click to see, click to hide kind of viewing to see if I care.
2) Is there a way to select specific Facebook feeds? I know there is top news and live feeds, but I also have specific Friend lists grouped by how I know them. It would be cool to see these lists like we see the Twitter lists. Also in Facebook, I can hide certain application posts (I don't care about people's maffia, farms or fish). Is it possible to get socialite to hide these as well?
Overall though I really like this software, I am just trying to decide if I like it better that Facile and Pwitter. By the way, are there two forums for Socialite? Which one is more commonly used?
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the message. Do you mean notifications in the menu item? As this is already possible in Socialite's preferences (please see attached screen shot).
At the moment there is no way to select the different Facebook feed types. Currently Socialite just uses the 'Live' feed and it's not possible to hide friend specific information.
There is currently only the one Socialite forum and it can be found here:

I'll pass all your comments onto our developers for consideration in a future update to Socialite!
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Luke
