Unable to "mark as read" my google reader news

Hello guys,

First things first, I am very happy using socialite.

Second, I've noticed something weird with my google reader feed... I usually read the titles of my news and select those ones I am interested on reading every night. After that I mark them all as read... But the funny thing is that afterwards they appear as new news again when I open socialite the next day.

Is it only me or is there a real small inconvenience here?

Thank you a lot.

    Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for the message. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with Socialite, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.

I'm currently unable to recreate this issue myself. Are you able to consistently recreate the issue? Could you detail the exact steps that you take to encounter it?

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Hello Luke,

    Thanks for your promt reply.

I am able to consistently recreate the issue. Every day since last update is the same.

I can open the application, mark all items as read and when I open the application again all the previously marked as read items are there again.

Usually what I do is to open the application, look for the news I am interested on reading and afterwards I mark all items as read and close the application.

I use twitter, facebook and google reader funcionality, but only google reader behaves like this.

    I hope this helps

    Cheers!

    Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for the update. Could you try removing the Google Reader service and re-adding it. Does this resolve the issue?

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Luke,

That did indeed fix the problem.

    Thank you very much!
