Newest Socialite - locks me out of Twitter
Going through the OAuth crap again.
Nothing comes up. Authorize in browser just beeps. Totally locked out.
This is rather frustrating. Too bad I didn't keep the previous version.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the message. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with Socialite, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.
This seems to have been an issue on Twitter's end with certain accounts. Do you have any other accounts? If so do they also experience the issue in Socialite?
I was able to recreate this issue myself with my main Twitter account but after removing and re-adding the account in Socialite the issue became resolved. Could you try this fix - does it work for you?
Kind regards,
Luke

I just kept retrying. I’m hesitant to remove my account because I don’t want to lose rules/peeks, etc.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the update. Unfortunately without first trying to remove/re-add the service there is no way for us to continue troubleshooting the issue. Are you still experiencing problems? Do you have issues with any other Twitter accounts?
Kind regards,
Luke

I am having the same problem. Receiving the message twitter rate limit exceeded.
The problem with your solution is that as written above I wouldn't like to lose my peeks, searches etc. My greatest concern is that I wouldn't like to use a software where bug fixing requires me to build my own UI from scratch. Do you have any other possible solution?
Best regards
:Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the message. What refresh rate do you have on the service? Have you first tried limiting the rate? For example changing it from 1 minute to 5 minutes.
Kind regards,
Luke

Hello Luke,
It is as you described. I think the main problem is that an account
(my main account) is stuck refreshing.
Best,
:Daniel

Hi Daniel,
This does indeed sound like an issue with the service then. I would suggest removing the service and re-adding it - although I can appreciate that this is not idea.
Kind regards,
Luke
