The same with me. I didn't do anything to my facebook-account but when I try to loggin, the message "Authentication Complete appears but then I click on the button Continue, the same error as above pops up.

Same here. Made sure to quit in between deleting and re-adding the service, but apparently Socialite has the login credentials cached somewhere, and there's no way to re-enter them.

Happened all of a sudden, i.e. was working an hour ago. Browser access to Facebook is fine, so it's not a wrong password.

I deleted my account and cleared the cache for Socialite, but this doesn't solve the problem either

    Hi Guys

We're looking into this. It would appear to be an issue with Facebook's authentication APIs however we're investigating and will keep you updated as we learn more.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Kind Regards,

    Nik

Nik, it would be really helpful if you could update the article at http://support.realmacsoftware.com/faqs/socialite/fixes-for-common-... as it only covers authentication issues for Twitter - I trashed all the prefs files and reinstalled, only to find it's a known issue, albeit recent.

    Hi Guys

Just to clarify: you will be able to log into the Facebook Web site - it's an issue with the authentication used in the Facebook Connect API. We're continue to look into this and will be posting once we know more.

    Thanks!

    Nik

    Hi Guys

Appears there's been some changes to the Facebook API. We've worked around them and will be releasing Socialite 1.0.4 with the changes later today!

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your patience! We've discovered some API changes at Facebook's end, and we've now implemented changes to work around this issue in version 1.0.4 which is now available for download via Socialite's 'Check for Updates' option.

    Kind Regards,

    Nik
