Socialite's icon; thoughts?

I'm guessing this might have been discussed ad nauseum here in the past, but as a new user, I've got to chime it...

I definitely think the program needs a new icon; not because I'm some sort of puritan who doesn't like the cocktail reference, but because from a larger useability standpoint it should be something simpler and more to the point. In short, it's good for a joke, but not long-term. Anyone in the organization agree with me?

   Hi John

   We've discussed fairly widely on the forums when Socialite launched, and as part of that discussion did get some mockups for alternatives put together [though they were only for internal appraisal - and not publicly shared]. However, we weren't entirely happy with the other mockups and as a result, we have no plans to change the icon to anything else for the foreseeable future.
