First a few Google Reader issues:

1) The Reader container doesn't appear to update its refresh time with its settings. I used to have it at a relatively fast refresh (2-3 minutes). I've since reduced it to 5 minutes, but it continues to refresh more often. I've since changed it to 15 minutes, and that has yet to impact it either.

2) Reader, when refreshing often seems to hang the application while the update completes despite loading from multiple "threads." Furthermore, when it finishes, the right-side pane often will not move to the next item with spacebar or cmd+/, but will respond to arrow keys. This causes the flow to continue normally, but it will redisplay the hung entry in the flow.

I've since gotten used to these, so it's not a usability problem, per se, but it'd be nice if someone looked into it. This was a problem in 1.0.2 and through both 1.0.3 betas so far.

3) The new changes to Facebook in 1.0.3 beta 2 seem to make it all work well at this stage, including not only seeing third party client postings, but also Facebook posted links now. However, there's nothing indicating that it's a link, and worse, if there's no comment posted with the link on Facebook, there's just a blank entry. Some type of visual indicator would be good here. Also, if there's a way to bring in Notes and Videos, that would be good, as well.

All other issues I have (Twitter enhancements, Facebook user icons not refreshing, etc.) already seem to be covered by other threads.

   A quick followup to my previous note about FB: I also see that Notes do, indeed, show up in the feed now along with wall postings between friends. This is good; however, again, there's no visual indicator of this which is a bit confusing. Knowing that a message is between Friend A and Friend B helps with context.

   Thanks for your message. We're continuing to refine the filtering in Facebook - we're not planning support for links in the next update, however we are looking into it for a future update!

   We're also looking into the performance of Socialite's Google Reader module, as it needs to be very much more responsive!
