User Testing
I am not sure what the issues are with Socialite and at first I was happy to wipe out all my settings, start afresh, crumbs some people even did stuff in safe mode. However as much as I was fond of the software I am finding I need to find an Alternative asap, as I do not have the time to continue to invest in testing your product (which is now supposedly out of beta) - hey I would not mind if it was beta and updates where fast coming but thats not the case.
I had no real problems with the eventbox mac heist version and feature adding was great and app seemed stable, and updated a lot so I paid out for it. I know the core software was rejigged and a little later realmacsoftware took over and unfortunately updates after that point have plagued my mac with crashes, inconstant feeds (photos missing, odd tweets missing, half implemented features (retweets) and a general concern that the app is missing out on some of my social updates and likely to crash my mac at any moment.
Seriously you need to have some 'internal' users that have real
heavy usage of Twitter, Flickr, facebook, google reader etc in
Sociliate on a daily basis, this is your core/ target audience and
FAQ support responses to wipe out settings that include searches.
profile peeks is not a good user experience, this FAQ is always
thrown up as 'you' seem unable to replicate the problems 'we' are
having.

Hi Adam
Thanks for your message. We do, of course, test Socialite (and we use it on a daily basis with all our product and personal Twitter accounts, Reader accounts etc) however given the huge variety of ways that folks use Socialite, it's always possible that some configuration (preferences, OS settings, third party applications, Growl) is missed. We're continuing to run tests on Socialite as we're determined to ensure that everyone's experience is as painless as possible.
Kind Regards,
Nik
