Hi,

When tweets arrive with an attached image (Twitpic/yfrog link) it would be cool if Socialite showed a little preview of the image - in a way that Flickr images are shown in the Flickr stream.

Keep up the good work!

Jon.

I have seen other clients implement a similar feature. Definitely a nice-to-have.

But since the photo isn't returned as part of the Twitter API like it is for Flickr and/or Facebook, it would require an extra request, and on larger photos, that might take a while. I haven't actually used any of the other clients that have a similar implementation, so I don't know how they get around the performance issue.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your messages. Most Twitter clients only show a thumbnail if you're viewing an individual tweet (this requires less requests), which make this a large overhead for Socialite to show right now. That said, I've filed this for future consideration as I'm sure folks would find it useful!

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

Im not worried about the inline thumbnails but would be nice to get the little photo icon like on the facebook and flickr photos , to enlarge, rather than click the URL nice visual indication there is a picture attached (and no over head - I expect ;) )
