I've tried adding the following feeds, all of which crash Socialite so I can't help but think the .is part is causing some hickups:

http://visir.is/section/FRONTPAGE&Template=rss&mime=xml

http://feeds.mbl.is/mbl-frettir-innlent.xml

http://maclantic.is/spjall/rss.php

There is an exception though... My personal website's RSS works nicely (maybe because it's made with RapidWeaver:

I've added feeds from MacRumors, Ananova and my friend's blog - those are all working fine.

    Hi there

Thanks for your message. I've just tested these with Google Reader, and cannot replicate the issue. Could you offer any further steps to replicate the issue?

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

    Thanks for the quick response!

I did not add them via Google Reader but the RSS part as I don't have Google Reader.

To prevent any misunderstanding i took a screenshot (see the highlighted menu item).

Try adding the feeds I posted via the RSS service rather than Google Reader and see if that changes anything.

    Best regards!

Just checking up on this problem. It's still unresolved after today's update. Any progress or fixes?

    Hi Alliat,

Thanks for the update. This is a bit of a complicated issue- so we unfortunately can not confirm at which point in the future our developers will be able to fix this. Please rest assured though that it has come to the attention of our developers.

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Just a little update:

I managed to add the following feed without crashing Socialite:

    http://maclantic.is/spjall/rss.php

I had to change the .php ending to .xml and Socialite accepted it without crashing. The other two feeds I mentioned in the original posts still crash Socialite no matter what I do.
