Read items not staying read
Evening all,
I've just updated from Eventbox to Socialte 1.0 (977) and I'm having the same problem mentioned earlier with items being marked as read (or actually read) and then returning to unread status with the next service refresh.
I've managed to fix this with Twitter (removed the service and reinstated it) but that means losing all the saved profiles. I'd rather not have to do this with all my RSS feeds - and surely this issue needs to be fixed sooner or later - so what information would the developers need to track down this problem?
I don't have a problem with glitches in new software, especially when the developers seem to be actively resolving them, but one issue with this has actually got me angry. Figuring there were a few bugs with Socialite, I was going to revert back to using Event Box for a few weeks until some of them had been ironed out, only to find out that Socialite had deleted all the services and preference information. Having one application import information from another one is fine, but to make changes to the Preferences and settings of another application is totally out of order. I'd appreciate a quick guide on how to reinstate the preferences for an application I bought and have been happily using for months without problems.

Same here. Clean install of 1.0.1. No read-status is being kept.

Hi Guys
Whilst we're not able to (currently) reproduce this issue here, we're looking into it and will (of course) ship and fixes in a future update to Socialite.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik
