Can I have my $15 back? Seriously.

Having willingly paid $15 for EventBox many months ago with the understanding that it would shoot up to $20 upon the 1.0 release by The Cosmic Machine and this would provide at least the same usability as previous EventBox versions with what was being touted as significant features and enhancements, I'm really disappointed with the 1.0 release today. Was it released just so that it could be said that Socialite is no longer in beta? I see no improvement over beta 4-I had to remove then re-add Twitter yet again to authorize the service (yet again-is this going to be standard with each update from now on?) and even worse, the unread items bug persists-new Search items continue to contribute to the Unread count and I see no preference to turn this off. Photos from FB friends do not come up at all, and while I understand this was not intended for the 1.0 release, I'm not hopeful that viewing posted FB links and being able to simultaneously post to FB and twitter will be rolled into a forthcoming version anytime soon. This is because I still see a lot of the same bugginess that has been around since beta 2.

I'm tired of being disappointed with Socialite. As I've mentioned before, I really want it to succeed, but each week seems to bring disappointment after disappointment, and at this point I'd just like to bail and get my $15 back. Is this possible?

I have the same feeling, and more information about this subject would be appreciated.

Might I add that your FB problem might be due to privacy settings of the uploader. In fact you can reject updates going to an external application all together.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your messages. I'm sorry that you're unhappy with Socialite 1.0. We've spent the last two weeks solidly using Socialite (as always) to try and reproduce some of the issues that have been reported. We've never encountered the authentication problems - and we've had no folks offer any information from Beta 4 with Console logs to help track down the causes. If you've any further information, we will happily take a further look into this for the 1.0.1 release.

With regards to the refunds, we're able to offer you a refund on the purchase you've made: however as we can't process the refunds via our store system they need to be made via Paypal.

If you could send over - in a new private thread - your CosmicMachine receipt and your PayPal email address we'll get this sorted for you.

As you can imagine, the 1.0 is just the start for Socialite. We've got a number of things we want to improve and add in the future, that we simply weren't able to hit for 1.0.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik
