behavior of feed/scroll bar as new posts appear

If I have read everything that is currently in my feed, I would prefer if, the next time I read it and there are several new posts, that the scrollbar would automatically be at bottom of my unread list so that I can scroll up to go from older to newer as I read posts. The way it's currently set up, it seems, is to keep the scroll bar at the top of the screen no matter how many new posts there are, and I would read my posts scrolling downward (from newest to oldest). So, count this as a request to implement an easy way to read my feeds from oldest to newest. See attached pic for an example of where I would like the scrollbar to be when I start reading unread posts so that I can scroll up.
