HUD: Make apparent in any Space; responding to postings while in the HUD mode

Hello,

1) Making the Socialite HUD apparent in Any Space, like Twitterrific (i.e., making it's popping up relative, rather than absolute).
I've noticed that when the HUD opens in a particular space, it is rooted to that space while the HUD is open. In other words, if I travel to another Space and then try to see the HUD (assuming that I opened the HUD in another Space), nothing happens. I have to travel back to the Space that the Socialite HUD was first opened in order to see anything.

Twitterrific's HUD will travel with you from Space to Space. No matter what Space I was in the last time I invoked Twitterrific, Twitterrific's HUD will pop up in my current Space whenever I invoke it. I think this is a cool feature, making the HUD relative, rather than absolutely rooted to the Space.

I've abandoned Twitterrific for Socialite, since Socialite can do so much more, but I miss that feature. I'm not sure if this is easy to incorporate or not, but may I please list it as a future feature request. It would be very cool.

2) Responding to Twitter, Facebook, etc., posts, while in the HUD.
I've noticed that while in the HUD, that there's a input box at the bottom of the HUD, presumably for responding to post I'm currently looking at. I can type, there's a little box that counts down the number of characters I've got left, but how to I post? Hitting just gives me a carriage return. I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out to post what I've just typed. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I am missing it. Any advice to this stupid question?

Thanks!

    Hi there

Thanks for your message. We'll be improving the Spaces handling in the future! For posting in the HUD, you should use Cmd + Return to post to your services!

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

Thanks! Will Cmd + Retrun create a new post in, say, Facebook, or let me respond to the highlighted post?

    Thanks, again!

    Nik,

This works well if I’m trying to post to my status. However, if I’m trying to comment on a friend’s status, the post goes to my status instead. Any way around this? Thanks!
