Update problem

Hi,

For some reason I can't seem to update socialite automatically. Everytime the app tries to update itself it downloads the update then gives me an error message saying: Update Error! An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later.

I've had that problem trying to update 1.2.0 to 1.2.1 and finally had to install the update manualy by downloading it from the website.
It's now happening again with 1.2.1 to 1.2.2.

All I see in the logs is:

27/08/10 19:55:07 Socialite[2037] Sparkle Error: An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later.

I'm running an iMac 11,1 with Snow Leopard and all the currently available updates installed but I'd also like to add that I experienced the exact same issue updating the program on another completely different computer.

Any idea why this might be happening?

Regards,

Nicolas

    HI Nicolas

Thanks for your message. We've not had many other reports of this issue from users I'm afraid - so I can't say why this might be happening. We're looking into this, however in the meantime the best thing to do would be to re-download Socialite from our website:

    http://www.realmacsoftware.com/downloads

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

    Hi,

I'd already figured downloading from the website worked but I wanted to let you know there was an issue. If you want more info regarding my configuration feel free to ask.

    Thanks

    Nicolas
