Deselecting containers

I run a copy of Socialite at home on a Intel Mac Pro and at work on a Quad G5 (PPC). On the G5, if I click in an empty area below the various containers, they are all deselected and the reading window is blank--which is something I like to clear the screen, enabling me to leave it open without having content visible when people are in the office. At home on the Intel machine, however, this does not happen. I can deselect all containers if I Command-click the one that is highlighted, but clicking the empty area below is more convenient. I have checked through preferences and they're identical on both machines, nor is there any setting that would imply enabling/disabling this ability.

    Hi Lee

We'll be looking to improve the consistency of these behaviours in a future update. Are the Macs running different releases of Mac OS X?

    Thanks!

    Nik

Yes, I should have specified that the Intel Mac Pro at home is on 10.6 while
the G5 at work is on 10.5.8.
