two problems with beta 2
-
google reader: items marked as read turn up as unread every time the feed refreshes
-
There doesn't seem to be any way for Growl to notify when new Facebook posts arrive. Is this still a work in progress?

Hi there
Thanks for the reports. I've filed the Notifications issue with our developers as I'm unsure why that isn't enabled. With regards to the Google Reader issue, we're not able to replicate the issue here. If you remove the account from Socialite and re-add it, are you still encountering the issue?
Thanks!
Nik

I've had feeds show up again as unread if I'm marking them read from Unread. Doesn't happen when I mark them read from the GReader node.

Other problem with Google Reader: sometimes I receive some feeds(only some, casual) 2-3 hours late...

Hi Francesco
Thanks for your message. For the feeds arriving late: are they appearing in the Google Reader web interface on time, or are they delayed there also?
Kind Regards,
Nik

On the web interface they appear on time as always.
It looks like that the program have problem with massive news load, and so it downloads some news when there's less traffic.. in a couple of hours average

Hi Francesco
Thanks for your updates. Do you have the URL for the feed you're subscribing to that's causing this? I'll give it a test and see what's happening here!
Are you using any other Google Reader clients (on the iPhone?) and are they also experiencing this? I'm trying to track down whether it's a bug in Socialite, a delay on Google's end passing the feed updates to the Google Reader API or something else!
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

There isn't a specific feed that arrive late: it's random. Today the feed of this news http://www.dday.it/redazione/347/Review-Lettore-Bluray-Samsung-BDP4... has arrived 20 hours late. But is not specific of that site, it's just for example: even feed from Engadget or MacWorld are late sometimes.
ATM I don't use any other Google Reader client, so I can't say.

Hi Francesco
Thanks for your message. We're looking into this - however we can't currently pinpoint where the delay is. If you have any further details about it, please don't hesitate to let me know.
