stange behaviour on publishing

hi guys
I've published a few sites with RW so far and its the first time I've come across this -
when publishing RW uploads the files in the usual way but when finished fails to display the site's URL and the link
doesn't work.
I've checked all the settings I can think of and there is no visible difference with these settings and my other sites which publish as expected
any ideas?
