Publishing to MobileMe
RapidWeaver Software Support page clearly states that publishing to MobileMe using RapidWeaver is fully supported and the RapidWeaver software does have all the functionality to seamlessly publish the content to MobileMe site.
When I tried to upload the web content, RapidWeaver software confirmed to me that the pages are loaded to designated address within my MobileMe account.
When I visited my web site, it was showing the web content published earlier using iWeb.
The upload process did not refresh the content and replace it with the new content created using RapidWeaver.
Just now, I have had a chat to Apple MobileMe Support re. using RapidWeaver to publish content on to MobileMe hosted web sites.
They have clearly stated that apart from publishing web content using iWeb (Apple product), no other tools are supported including RapidWeaver.
It is shocking to see that Apple sells RapidWeaver software through their Stores but claims that MobileMe does not support content created using RapidWeaver SW.
I have only two actions to perform, scrap MobileMe account (still on trial period), which means I cannot easily sync my data from iphone to MacBookPro.
It is so combursome to try any other method to sync between iPhone and MacBookPro.
This means unnecessary $120 per year paid to MobileMe, just for synching my iPhone and some storage benefits it offers.
The 2nd action is to use a Web Hosting service and pay additional $250 per year just to host my site.
Can someone shed some light and suggestions to move forward or help me with my requirement?
Thanks and Regards,
Raman

Hi Guys
Thanks for your message. RapidWeaver does indeed support publishing to MobileMe - I've published a couple of sites there myself just over the weekend about this. However. When iWeb publishes to MobileMe, the service blocks access to sub-folders and over-rides any content that third-party applications upload. You'll need to remove your iWeb pages from MobileMe to upload.
MobileMe does, in fact, offer third-party applications access - however Apple don't support them via MobileMe technical support.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

Adding to the above ...
I'm in the process of 'trying' to upload to Mobile Me (MM) ... hears the problem ...
I have an existing iWeb site already loaded. I have followed iDisk>web>sites and I get the screen shot below.
I have removed that .rss file which I believe is created by iWeb. ... I read somewhere the .rss is the problem file.
Should I just remove all folders in the 'sites' folder and then upload RW?

To Clarify my above post .....
I mean ...... remove all folders from the iDisk>web>sites .... the ones that are in the >web>'sites' folder

Hi Tom
You should remove all bar the '_gallery' folder as that's a MobileMe-generated folder in Sites -> Web.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

Hi Nik.
You'll love this .... I right clicked the folder and sent to trash ... it disappears .... for about 1.5 seconds! ...and then re-appears ... what's with that?????
I also dragged it to the trash bin the got the same result ... weeeeeeeird!
I even went to the extreme of deleting ALL files/folders in the sites folder .... _gallery remains. I picked up some info elsewhere that the folder may be created by iPhoto.
Not sure what to do now.
May I suggest that RW have more info on their site for situations like mine ie .... trying to publish to mobile me after a previously loaded iWeb site/page.
It looks like I'll have to have RW hosted by another hosterrrrrrr.
