I have received the following email from Newstex regarding my RSS feed. Please advise what I should do.

-------------------begin quote------------------

Dear Thomas,

Newstex has experienced some difficulties in syndicating your blog content, due to errors such as this one:

http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http://www.jacksonprogressiv...

line 17, column 1625: XML parsing error: :17:1625: not well-formed (invalid token)

It seems that invalid and possibly invisible characters are slipping into your content. You might be able to resolve this by either identifying and removing the character, or by adding a space before this portion of your feed.

You may also be able to identify such errors better in the future by beginning each
tag on a new line instead of running it into the previous line.

We will continue to try to process your feed, but it is likely that we are not receiving all the posts that we should, due to this error.

Sincerely,

Michael Airhart

    Hi Tom

Thanks for your message. I've just tried the feed in Safari and a number of other feed readers and there's no problem with their parsing of the feed. Whilst there's some markup in the feed that the feed validator doesn't like, the newstex system should really be able to read that content like most others. If Newstex could clarify whether your feed is being read correctly it'd be much appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Nik
