Drag and Drop

I bought Rapidweaver after reading all the positive comments and articles about it. I opened the program and found that I can't use it. It will not allow me to drag and drop to build a website. My design is very simple but none the templates that come with the program are simple enough. I want a black background with a repeating pattern framing the page. Then I want to drop text and images in the body of the page. From my understanding of Rapidweaver I can't make a black background, I can't drop an image onto the page without a white card appearing around it and I can't frame the page with anything at all. Am I correct in my understanding of this software?

I've attached an image of what my design is meant to look like.

Regards,
Mark

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for the message and apologies for the delayed response. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with RapidWeaver, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.

RapidWeaver is a theme-based website creation application and as such the changes you would like to make depend on the theme which you've chosen and the available theme variations for the theme.

It sounds as though you may possibly be interested in a third-party plugin that allows for the kind of 'dragging around the edit area' functionality that you are looking for such as 'Blocks' or 'Stacks' by YourHead.com.

You might like to post on the forums about this as we have a fantastic community that are often happy to help other users find solutions to unsupported features.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Luke
