Hi -
I recently purchase RapidWeaver, so please excuse if this is a dumb question :-)
I am trying to add more than one photo album to a photo album page. What I can make out from the screen shot image in the manual, this should be possible, however, I am not able to.
PS: I am not using iPhoto to manage my photos

How can I make make more than one space between words, similar to TAB
spacing in a word processor? This is in a Styled Text sheet.
i.e: I have two images next to each other, but want them spaced apart.
I read in a forum about HARD SPACE by holding down the ALT key while
spacing, but that does nit seem to work. Currently I use ____ and then set
the font color to match the background color. This seems to work fine in
Safari, but the color does not seem to match 100% in IE for example.

Hi Friedl,
You should be able to add a hard space by holding down the option button and hitting space. Or you could manually add a 'non-breaking space' by typing:
You can remove add-ons by locating the third-party RapidWeaver application support folder:
~/Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver..and removing them here and then re-launching RapidWeaver.

I have been experiencing some errors with RW the past couple of days. Every
second (or so) time I hit the save button, RW hangs... I then have to force
quit and restart the aplication. Needless to say, the save then did not
complete and I have to redo all changes.
I am attaching the error report, don¹t know whether it will help.

Luke -
How can I edit HTML in RW? (other than starting with a blank HTML page) I
found ³view source², but editing the source there does not seem to change
permanently. I need to add [border=²²] to all images as IE puts border
around any image I add a link to.
I can edit it in an 3rd party editor, but then I can upload it using RW.

In regards to your issues with RapidWeaver hanging - to help us further investigate your issue, we'd appreciate it if you could quickly run though the steps in the following link and let us know if you are still encountering problems:

The source code in RapidWeaver can only be viewed and not edited. To make these sort of changes you would need to do some custom coding (something we're unable to support as it's not native to RapidWeaver). You might like to post on the forums about this as we have a fantastic community that are often happy to help other users find solutions to unsupported features.

When inserting images into pages and adding links to them, IE for some
reason puts borders around these images. Is there a way within RW to
specify border=² ² or do I have to use a 3rd party HTML editor?
I don¹t mind the latter, although that kinds of defies the purpose of the
smart update build into RW???

Hi Friedl,
Which theme are you using? As this should not be the case for native RapidWeaver themes (unless it is a specific feature available in the RapidWeaver Preview mode as well).
If you are using a third-part theme, you would need to contact the theme developer directly for their continued support of this issue.

It is RW theme (URBAN).
Safari does not present this problem, but IE does. I have corrected this
problem by manually adding border=²² next to every image I have set a link
to (using TACO HTML Editor), but as I mentioned it kind of renders RW¹s auto
(smart) update useless as you manually have to update and upload pages then
anyway.

Sure no problem:
* In styled text page, in EDIT mode
* Drag&Drop or Copy&Paste any image file (jpg, png, gif)
* Select pasted image and click ³add link²
* specify link to another page
As I mentioned, with Safari there seems to be no problem, but IE seems to
look for the border=²² coding otherwise it adds a border. This only happens
to images if you add a link to them.

Have you managed to duplicate the problem?
I would like to upload some changes I have made to our site, but that would
overwrite the current pages which would in-turn mean I would need to change
them manually again and upload them again :/

Hi Friedl,
Thanks for the update. I've investigated the issue - and unfortunately it seems to be a bug within the 'Urban' theme.
I've ticketed this issue for fixing in a future version of RapidWeaver. But in the mean time you may want to either manually use some custom code (as you were before) or perhaps switch to a different theme.

I am investigation the possibility to switch to another theme, problem is
that when I choose a different theme most of the pages will nee to be
completely done over. For some reason the ³format and layouts² does not
seem to fit on the other themes all that well.
