Bug in Photo Album?

Hello,
I just wondered why some thumbnails in a photo album page were not placed exactly. So I let me show the exported site with some informations about the position of DIVs etc. with Safari's Developer menu and I found that the class "album-wrapper" which should wrap around the thumbnail-wrap etc. does not work properly (see attached screenshot). The class thumbnail-wrap seems also to be somewhat misaligned. I use RW version 4.3.1 (5683) and Photo Album 4.0.

Greetings,
Michael

    Hi Michael

Thanks for your message. What's the display issue you've mentioned with the thumbnails? We switched from table-based layouts to CSS a while back, and as such there's no way to place thumbnails in an exact grid - just build the grids relatively from the available thumbnails.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

    Hi Nik,

in the submitted screenshot you can see a small blue line overlapping the thumbnails which is the div-container "album-wrapper". I thought, this container should wrap around all the thumbnail-classes or should act as spacer between the description and the thumbnails. But unfortunately that does not work. Instead the thumbnails are very close to the description container or in my case are partially overlapping with the description container. I had to manually add a 80px margin to the botttom of the description container to avoid this.
So my thought was, that something with this album-wrapper must be wrong, because it overlaps the thumbnails and does not help to have some space between the description container and the thumbnails.

Greetings from Germany (with apologies for my bumpy english),
    Michael

    Hi Michael

Thanks for your message. The album-wrapper is designed to wrap the entire set of photos - not individual ones. As such it's behaving as intended. The design of each theme varies the height between snap and description, so if it's not to a user's liking, they do need to manually edit the CSS.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik

    Hi Nik,

thanks for your explanation. When this is the intended behavior, the topic can be closed.

    Thanks,
    Michael
