Hello,

I am trying to determine the correct Server and Path to use when publishing a site from Rip Weaver 4.3.1. Both computers are within my home network.

Current settings - I get a publish error
Server: 34donoresquare.com (this is the URL for the site I am publishing)
Path: \

Some extra information:
I have multiple sites that will be hosted on the macmini running 10.6 Server
Each site has it's own store / folder in documents

Any pointers?

Thanks,
Taylor

If it helps I can use dropbox with the files, install rapid weaver on my mac mini running 10.6 server, and then export to the proper location.

    Hi Taylor,

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately we're unable to provide any help on issues that fall outside RapidWeaver technical support- such as server configuration. The quickest way to resolve this would be to post on the Realmac Software forums where someone will probably be able to help you further:

    http://www.realmacsoftware.com/forums/index.php/forums/

However, as an observation which may or may not help I've noticed that you are using a backslash () rather than a the more likely forward slash (/) in your Path.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Luke,

Let me ask you this. If I export the site and drop the folder on my server is that going to provide the same published files that would result from the publishing process?

If so I can use that for now and figure out the correct settings when it is less time critical.

By the way Apple says that the publishing settings in Rapid Weaver are not their area - I will use the forum.

    Thanks,
    Taylor
