Rapid Weaver trial

Wanting to move up from IWeb and so trialling all the other web design software for the Mac. At first glance Rapid Weaver ticks the boxes. However just a few minutes into a trial project, I clearly want to use a free format page - Iweb's text boxes make this easy instead of the rapidweaver add page/ styled text. Clearly I need 'blocks'. Where is it? Doesn't seem to be in my trial version (despite being shown as a major point in the tutorial). If I go to the original download it seems I can download from a third party developer, but not as a trial. Does the web price of rapid weaver include 'blocks' or is there some other work around.

As a second issue I can't quickly see a way to access and insert data into the second panel - i.e the right hand pane of the theme 'possible' for example. Perhaps I haven't worked through enough of the tutorials yet.

regards
Brian

    HI Brian,

Thanks for the message. 'Blocks' is a third-party plugin for RapidWeaver which was developed by YourHead.com and as such it is not a native part of RapidWeaver but sold and supported independently.

I believe you can download Blocks and try it for free here:

    http://www.yourhead.com/blocks/

In regards to your second question - do you mean customising themes themselves ? As this is not native to RapidWeaver itself. Although many themes do include Style Variation to provide you with a certain level of customisation on a per-theme basis.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Luke
