Site Logo won't display in Firefox or Explorer
Hey,
I published my website, www.Artauropro.com and it looks and
plays fine in Safari. However, in Firefox, the site logo image is
gone and it shows the words "site logo" instead. This happens in
Explorer as well. Additionally in Explorer, the fonts are different
from the original and different from page to page. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the message. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with RapidWeaver, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.
I noticed when inspecting your site that your site logo is a .psd file (artauro_logo_web.psd). This file format is not natively supported by RapidWeaver. If you convert it to a web optimised .jpg or .png in your preferred image editor it should display in all browsers as expected.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Luke

Thanks Luke. That actually occurred to me as well last night as I
tried to find parameters for the images in the manual. That does seem
to do the trick when I exported it to my desktop to preview in Firefox.
Regarding the font changes in Internet Explorer, I assumed I was using
an acceptable, web safe font when I imported my text from Word into
the Bravo template. Is there a way to be sure? Would this even be
the issue or is a Windows thing? I believe I left it on default text
when it imported. It's not really the end of the world if it's not
exact, but I did not want it to to look sloppy or slapped together,
either. Thanks so much for your help and quick response.

Hi Michael,
When importing text from Word (or any other application that applies text styling) I would always suggest using RapidWeaver's Edit -> 'Paste as Plain Text' function as opposed to a regular paste. This should remove any formatting and display the text in the theme's web-safe font list.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Luke

Sorry, one more question. So once I past as plain text, I then can go
and choose one of the other web safe fonts you provide and then do the
bold, different colors, etc., yes?

Hi Michael,
Once you text is in the edit view as plain text, a default web-safe 'font family' should be applied to your text (which family is dependant on the theme you use). In some themes there is a choice to change the family, others there is not. If you want to apply any further custom font changes yourself (using the font button) these will not necessarily be web-safe and I would suggest researching the font yourself to find out if it will display well across most browsers.
Hope that answered your questions! Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Luke
