I just tried publishing a new edition of my Web site. The folder that usually is called "rw_common" did not appear, so the site will not load properly. How can I make the software upload another rw_common folder and all of its required files.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for the message. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with RapidWeaver, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.

Are you using RapidWeaver's built in publishing and are you able to perform a normal local export? Have you been through all the steps in the following link?

    http://support.realmacsoftware.com/faqs/rapidweaver/common-fixes-for-ftp-publishing-issues

If so, and you're still experiencing issues could you send us a compressed copy of your site file (.rwsw file) so that we may further investigate the issue?

    Kind regards,

    Luke

Hello, Luke. Thanks for following up. I dumped the cache, and that worked perfectly to upload the files and the theme (rw_common) folder, so that's been solved.

There is still a problem, however, which I think is related to permissions. I have attached a screenshot, so you can see what's happening. This happens with all pages except the index file. If I change the permissions to "execute," the page can be accessed, but only once. Then, I get the same message as shown in thr screenshot.

I'm running RW 3.6 on an iBook with OS 10.4.11. Any thoughts? - Mark

    Hi Mark,

Glad to hear that the original issue is resolved.

How are you publishing? Are you using RapidWeaver's built in publishing or perhaps an external FTP client?

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Hi, Luke. I used RapidWeaver's built-in publishing. As I think I mentioned,
I published a different set of RapidWeaver files to another site and had no
problems at all. This one's got me stumped. - Mark

    Hi Mark,

Are both sites hosted by the same service provider? Could you double check your publishing credentials for the project with your service provider.

    Kind regards,

    Luke

Hi, Luke. We tracked it down. The code was pointing to the wrong location in
each of the files, so I needed to go into the source code and fix each page.
It's working fine now. Thanks for the help. - Mark
