Contact Form No Longer Working
I was wondering if you could help me. It seems as if my contact forms are no longer working on the web site I have created with RapidWeaver. I know that they had been working quite well. I have looked on the forums and it seems that many others are having the same issue I am. I contacted my hosting provider to make sure I was using PHP 5 - and I am. In our recorded interaction they informed that I should "...contact your form application service provider or re-configure your form properly once again. The form is not sending emails to any email address. The issue is not with the mailbox."
Can you help shed some light on this for me? Is RapidWeaver 4.3 no longer outputting correct .php code? Is there something I can manually tweak on my end to get this to work again?
Thank you

Hi Jeffery,
Thanks for the message. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with RapidWeaver, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.
What is the URL of your contact form page? So that we may further investigate this issue. Have you been through all the steps in the following link:

Luke,
Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I have been through all of the steps on the troubleshooting page. That is why I opened a ticket - I seem to be at a loss at this point.
The URL is as follows:

Please let me know what you find out.
Thank you,

HI Jeffrey
Thanks for your message. Have you recently updated your copy of RapidWeaver? For the form to stop working on the server, without a change in RapidWeaver version, something either in the user settings in RapidWeaver or on the server would have to have changed. Have you confirmed that the email address is correctly set up in the Page Inspector?
Who are you hosting your site with?
Thanks!
Nik

I am running the latest version of RW. I have checked the settings and
all appears to be correct.

Hi Jeffrey
Thanks for your message. Could you clarify with your host that they've not made any recent changes to the PHP installation on your server? If you've not changed your version of RapidWeaver recently, there's no way for the form to have changed (as we don't have any ability to update items remotely!!).
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

Please clarify for me the version of PHP that needs to be running on my
server for the contact form to work correctly. I had them update my
version of PHP to version 5.2 when I noticed that it was no longer
sending information.

Hi Jeffrey
The contact form works on both PHP 4.x and 5.x.
Kind Regards,
Nik
