Hi,

after updat to latest version 1.7.1(12347) I'm not able to open my existing library. Even if I go to Preferences -> advanced -> choose -> I'm not able to click to library file - it appear inactive (gray) no matter the location of file.
Could you help me solve my problem please?

    Hi Martin,

Thanks for the message. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with LittleSnapper, I understand what an inconvenience this may be for you.

Where is your LittleSnapper library file located? Is it located on a cloud-based service (such as Dropbox) as we're unfortunately unable to support this.

If you quit LittleSnapper and launch the application holding the option key down are you then able to choose your library?

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Hi Martin,

So if you move your library to a local location on your machine are you then unable to reconnect it?

If your library was kept on Dropbox there is a chance that it may unfortunately have become corrupt. Whilst we're not able to restore your original library, we can save the original snaps. Here's how.

    Firstly quit LittleSnapper and then:

    1. Navigate to your LittleSnapper library
    2. As this is the file that contains your snaps, rename it to something else (say, Old.lslibrary)
    3. Now launch LittleSnapper.

You'll then be presented with a blank library. So:

    1. Go to the File menu in LittleSnapper
    2. Choose 'Import Images'
    3. Now use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + Shift + G, and in the field enter:
~/Library/Application Support/LittleSnapper/Old.lslibrary In there, you'll see a number of .snap files: these are your saved snaps, so select them and import them into LittleSnapper.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Luke
