Annotations outside the screenshot area not saved when dragged or exported

Hi,

I've grabbed a screenshot of a small window using LittleSnapper, then added annotations around the outside of the grabbed window (because the window area is too small to contain the annotations). Firstly, the Icon view thumbnail only shows to the boundaries of the original grabbed window and does not show the annotations that I've added around it, however the main problem is that when I drag the final item from the Icon View to my desktop (or use File > Export), it only exports the original grabbed screen area (with no annotations - or only parts of the annotations that overlapped the screen area). The 'Dragging Images Out Will Include Annotations' is selected in Preferences.

Am I being stupid or is this a bug? In Skitch (the screen grabber previously used), it has a nice facility to 'extend' the white background in any direction to effectively enlarge your working area.
