LittleSnapper not working / freezes on startup

I had an old trial of LittleSnapper installed on my computer and then purchased the full version from the Mac App Store. As a trial, I had no issues running the software.

The app will open, but once open the interface is frozen. Nothing in the application window is responsive when you click on it. The menu bar does works.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, with no improvement. After I reinstalled, I got the crash log that is attached.

I have worked through the knowledge base article on fixes for common issues. Nothing fixed it until I booted in safe mode. LittleSnapper does work in Safe Mode. I then deleted all Login Items for my account hoping to rule out any third-party software interference when booted normally. Once booted normally, LittleSnapper still does not work.

Any ideas what might be going on here?

I've got Version 1.7 (12206)

    Hi Mark

Thanks for your message, I'm sorry oyu're having issues. This crash log is for July last year, and as such isn't really appropriate for this issue. Which version of Mac OS X are you running? Are you running Application Enhancer or any other similar applications on your Mac?

    Thanks!

    Nik

I'm running 10.6.6. I'm not running Application Enhancer.

    I am running Default Folder X (4.3.10) and Quicksilver (β54 (3815).
Disabling these doesn't seem to make a difference though.

    could be?

    Hi Mark,

Could you try running LittleSnapper 1.7.1 Beta 1 - which can be downloaded here:

    http://www.realmacsoftware.com/forums/index.php/forums/

    Does this resolve the issue?

    Kind regards,

    Luke

Installed it, and it doesn't resolve it. It acts exactly the same. Nothing
in the main window interface responds when clicking on it. Top menu bar
    still works though.

    Hi Mark

Thanks for your message. Did you, by any chance, purchase LittleSnapper on another machine and then copy it to your G5? Apple's App Store regulations mean that LittleSnapper ships as an Intel-only app from the Mac App Store, whilst being available as a universal binary from our website.

Have you quit the menu item, removed LittleSnapper from your system and reinstalled it?

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Nik
