Running version 1.7, which should be current. Library was created with I believe Version 1.6, purchased 12 months ago. Also tried putting library aside, letting Littlesnapper create new library. No effect.
Also tried starting in Safe Mode. No effect .

I also tried deleting ALL LIttleSnapper files, including the document file, and downloaded a fresh copy from the website.
I still get the same message: " Cannot read the LittleSnapper Library; maybe created with a newer version of LittleSnapper...."
IS LITTLESNAPPER COMPATIBLE WITH OSX 10.6.5??????

Hi,
Our developers have been looking into this, and we're in the progress of implementing a fix.
In the meantime, to fix this issue first quit the Menu item and LittleSnapper. Then:
Open the Finder
Go to the Go menu and select 'Go to Folder'
Enter: ~/Library/Preferences/
Locate the following file: com.realmacsoftware.littlesnapper.statusitem.plist
Remove that file.
Relaunching LittleSnapper should fix this up for you.
We're working on a full fix for this issue and as soon as we have an ETA I'll let you know.
Thanks for your patience

Hi there
Have you opened the following folder in the Finder: ~/Library/Application Support/LittleSnapper - is there a .lslibrary file in that location? If so, rename it.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

Nik,
thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I had almost given up finding a solution.
When the problem persisted some weeks ago, I first removed the file you refer to, from BOTH the admin user directory, and from my own user directory.... Then , when that didn't work, I removed the all files I could find saying littlesnapper, including the folder in applications support. Now there is no such folder. I also dumped the Littlesnapper app, and downloaded it again. I kept only my library file of snaps....
Still the same result.
Suggestions?

Hi Tor
If you remove the ~/Library/Preferences/com.realmacsoftware.littlesnapper.plist and ~/Library/Preferences/com.realmacsoftware.statusitem.plist files too does this still happen?
Thanks
Nik

Nik,
the first was deleted, the second not; i thought that one belonged to Rapidweaver and left it alone.
Now it works!
thanks
