Courier wont run on a Mac mini ?
I have a first generation Intel Mac mini, running on Mac OS x
10.6.6.
Courier does not launch. It has a grey "don't launch" icon and it
is greyed.
Why ? What is happening ?
Thanks,KK

Hi KK
Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, Courier requires a 64-bit Mac in order to run - which means it needs a Core 2 Duo chip inside it to run, something the first-gen Mac Minis did not have.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

Nik,
Thats what I thought, but why ? I just can't imagine something within Courier needs 64 bit.
Thanks,
Karsten

Hi Karsten
A number of the frameworks (and APIs we offer to developers) are future-proofed by being 64-bit only.
Thanks
Nik

Ah OK. So kind of a self-applied limitation...
Perhaps you should make this clear in the App Store description, too !

Hi Karsten
We're working with Apple to ensure the System Requirements section of the App Store lists this (it's under Apple's control!).
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik
